The main Ryan's House for Youth Campus is located on the Highway across from Island Transit Station in Coupeville at 19777 SR 20. The Campus is comprised of 2 buildings totaling 7200 sq ft on approx 17.8 acres of prairie at the entrance to Ebey’s Landing Reserve.
These buildings contain a 1400 sq ft Drop-In Center with attached offices.
Emergency Shelter and Transitional housing is located in the other wing with 14 rooms, with capacity to house 32 young adults 16 in night to night shelter and 16 in transitional housing. The space, located in the middle front is a conference space for tutoring, support groups, and wrap-around meetings, as well as, space available for community meetings.
A private well provides water and 8 septic tanks handle the waste water. The grounds behind the units have patios and decks. The bulk of the acreage to the east has potential for additional income generation from crops, farm stand or sports field.
The Drop-in has showers and bathrooms available for use and enough space to organize The Food Pantry & Supply Closet—clothing, shoes, toiletries.
These buildings are older and are in constant need of repair. We ask that you please consider donating $50 a month to help us pay for the much needed changes and minor repairs as we continue to make this place safe and warm for our youth and staff. Whatever you can afford to help us continue to take this big step forward in providing support and housing for the homeless and at-risk youth on Whidbey Island is much appreciated.
