We have had a crazy busy and blessed summer here on the Ryan’s House for Youth Campus. We have almost gotten our pump house remodeled to house our new water softening system, we are close to completing the art studio, we had some major electrical repairs done, and have finished our septic system.
Purchasing an old building has brought with it extensive costly updates and we welcome any financial or labor contributions towards them. We have windows that need replacing, roofing repairs needed on the housing portion, and the pantry needing rebuilt to name a few things. We can’t thank those enough who have donated time, material, and funds this far, we couldn’t have done it without you all!!
On September 4th, RHFY was blessed by the family of our namesake Ryan Busche. His family along with his wife's sister and the founder, Lori Cavender's family came together to paint, fix fences, chop wood, remodel, and dedicate the new art studio space to Ryan's Wife Abby. It was a wonderful day and everyone pitched in to help. The day was organized by Ryan's Mother, Marianne and family came from Seattle, Vashon, Kinston, and Olympia to spend the day honoring Ryan's and Abby's memories. The family hopes to make this an every year affair.
